Does this balance skill levels?

No. Teams are random splits by name only. We do not analyze or claim skill-balanced squads.

What if names do not divide evenly?

You will see a warning showing team sizes (for example 4 / 4 / 3). Extra names are distributed as evenly as random assignment allows.

Can I reroll one team only?

Yes. Reroll a single team to replace its members while leaving other teams unchanged.

Team count vs team size—what is the difference?

Team count fixes how many squads you want. Team size targets how many people per squad and derives the team count from headcount.

Are pairs supported?

Use the pair generator mini-tool to create random pairs from the same name list.

How random is the shuffle?

Names are shuffled with crypto.getRandomValues before round-robin assignment into teams—suitable for casual splits, not regulated drafts.

Can I save a roster?

Your last pasted list persists in localStorage on this device for convenience.
